About the Job

Description

We are looking for a CTO to join our team of engineers, PhDs, investment managers, and other deep tech professionals. This is a Senior Position in our Technical Development Department. The candidate will add technical value and quality to our firm’s portfolio of innovation and deep-tech initiatives. He or she will supervise the preparation of grant proposals.  

Responsibilities

  • Identification and management of the different projects of our clients.

  • Management of the technical team, supporting the projects development: e.g., planning and organizing tasks & workloads, controlling the timings, ensuring quality and compliance with deadlines.

  • Contribute to draft clear technical narratives and financial analysis documents related to RTD projects pursued by our clients in different sectors and countries.

Desired Background

  • Science based postgraduate in Engineering/Technology or Technical background. 

  • PhD and MBA.

  • Experience managing teams and projects.

  • Financial Knowledge and ability.

  • 7-10 Year Experience in European Commission funding programs and RTD projects. 

  • Advanced C2 English is mandatory, while other languages like Spanish, French, German or Nordic languages can be a plus.

  • Experience in Stakeholder Management & Team Management. 

  • Training in Project Management and PM Tools & Procedures.

  • Curiosity, awareness and a keen interest in science, technology, and innovation.

  • Excellent Communication Skills (both spoken and written).
