About the Job
Description
We are seeking a proactive EU Business Development Manager for EU Projects to join our team. He/she will be a member of our Business Innovation team in Madrid, working alongside a team of engineers, PhDs, and investment managers. In this role, you will focus on identifying and engaging with deep tech start ups who qualify for EU funding grants as well as building strategic partnerships across the EU funding ecosystem.
Responsibilities

Research and identify relevant funding opportunities across various EU programs (Horizon Europe, Eureka Eurostars, European Defense Fund…) ensuring alignment with Futuro Perfecto’s goals and priorities

Plan and launch targeted campaigns to promote Futuro Perfecto’s services and activities.

Organise and conduct meetings with prospective clients to understand their technologies and clarify their specific needs.

Follow up meticulously with leads and prospects to convert them into clients

Attend key industry events and conferences, representing Futuro Perfecto, and staying updated on trends, funding programs, and collaboration possibilities

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key EU stakeholders and other relevant representatives, to facilitate funding and partnership opportunities

Keep organised records of contacts and project details using tools such as CRM systems, Google Drive, and other collaborative platforms.

3-5 years of experience in Business Development or Sales positions

University graduate

Master’s degree in a relevant field an advantage

Experience with EU Funding or National Grants

C1 level English. Proficiency in other languages (Spanish, French, German, etc.) is desirable.
