About the Job

Description

We are seeking three proactive and analytical Innovation Consultant Interns to join our team. You will be a member of our dynamic team of engineers, PhDs, and investment managers in Madrid.

In this role, you will focus on analysing the groundbreaking R&D projects of deep-tech startups and research institutions. Your primary responsibility will be the meticulous preparation and writing of compelling grant proposals for European funding programs like Horizon Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse the technical, commercial, and financial viability of innovative projects from startups and research centres.

  • Draft, write, and refine high-quality grant proposals for EU funding programs (Horizon Europe, Eureka Eurostars, etc.), ensuring they meet all criteria and deadlines.

  • Collaborate closely with clients, partners, and our internal team of experts to gather necessary information and craft a cohesive project narrative.

  • Stay updated on the latest trends in technology, innovation, and the evolving landscape of European funding.

  • Manage multiple proposal deadlines simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality under pressure.

Desired Background

  • Able to work legally in Europe.

  • Recent graduate or current student of a Master’s in Management, MBA, or a related field.

  • An undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering, or a technical field is highly desirable.

  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience. Previous experience in innovation consultancy or writing proposals for EU Framework Programs (Horizon Europe, H2020) is a strong advantage.

  • C1+ level English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
