ABOUT THE PROGRAM

 

Embedded in the Residency Program of startuplab.01 in Santiago, Chile and powered by Futuro Perfecto, the DEEP BUILD Acceleration Program is designed to help early-stage deep tech startups transform their scientific advances into commercial value propositions and to prepare them to raise first capital.

Offered to selected resident startups, the 5-month program covers the full development cycle of a deep tech startup, from defining the impact thesis and customer discovery to building an MVP and preparing for the first fundraising rounds
with private investors.

Chile is one of the most internationally integrated markets and one of the most stable and business-friendly economies across Latin America. For international deep tech startups, startuplab.01 offers a proven environment to validate technology and scale
into the region.

WHO IS IT FOR?

​

Ambitious deep tech ventures with TRL 3-5, which are developing science- or engineering-based solutions with solid scientific background, with MVPs which are reproducible in a laboratory environment benefiting from the lab and coworking
infrastructure offered by startuplab.01. Teams should have a minimum of two committed members of which at least 50% should have a scientific background.​

WHAT WILL YOU GAIN?

SOUND COMMERCIAL FOUNDATION - Prepare for market entry through customer discovery, value proposition design, product roadmap and regulatory strategy with over 350 hours of training and mentorship per cohort.

HANDS-ON TECHNICAL VALIDATION - Access advanced wet and dry labs and coworking spaces to turn research into validated MVPs, supported by expert mentors and a structured 7-week lab sprint accelerating TRL progression.

​

IP AND INVESTOR READINESS - Build defensible IP strategies and investor-grade materials, including financial models and pitch decks. Refine your storytelling in mock pitch sessions, culminating in demo day exposure to relevant VCs.

INTERNATIONAL GROWTH PATHWAYS - Tap into Futuro Perfecto’s European and global Deep Tech network, unlocking partnerships, funding opportunities, and market access beyond Latin America.​
