Health


Brainhero offers a medically certified home-based EEG neurofeedback solution for children with ASD and ADHD. Featuring low-cost hardware and software, it reduces setup time to 2 minutes, cuts hardware costs by 10x, and decreases therapy expenses by 60%. Providing convenience and personalization, it optimizes training based on individual brain profiles, significantly increasing adequate training time and reducing overhead for parents compared to clinical sessions.

#2 CARBOMINER LIMITED (Cyprus)

Environment

CARBOMINER's C-DAC technology captures atmospheric CO2 as a valuable feedstock. Their innovative approach uses Direct Air Capture, employing wet absorbent fiber and electrodialysis pH-swing for cost-effective CO2 binding and regeneration. It offers a fossil-free, low-cost alternative for industries like greenhouses amidst rising CO2 prices and environmental concerns.

#3 Celtic Biotech Ltd (Ireland)

Health



Celtic Biotech Ireland's CB24 (Crotoxin) offers a home-based treatment for Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) using intravenous infusion pumps. It induces cell death and degradation in lung carcinoma cells, showing promise in efficacy, safety, and minimal side effects compared to traditional NSCLC treatments. They aim to advance Phase I Part 3 trials in their 24-month EIC project, targeting regulatory approvals (EMA, FDA) for this innovative therapy.

#4 Cephalgo (France) 

Health


Cephalgo tackles Europe's growing mental health issues with a groundbreaking solution—an accurate, remote emotion tracker. Using EEG and AI, it achieves an 88% emotion detection accuracy. This innovation aims to monitor treatment effectiveness, predict tailored treatments, and revolutionize mental health care by reducing trial-and-error approaches in psychiatry.

#5 D-ORBIT SPA (Italy)

Spacetech


D-Orbit introduces GEA, a pioneering spacecraft for in-orbit servicing (IOS) of commercial satellites in geostationary orbit. Featuring a high-precision robotic arm and electric propulsion, GEA allows for satellite inspection, life extension, and orbital adjustments. With this innovation, satellite operators can extend satellite lifespans by up to three years, potentially increasing revenues by €20M annually per satellite. D-Orbit aims to capture a substantial share of serviceable satellites in GEO by 2030, projecting cumulative revenues of over €530 million from in-orbit servicing.

ErVaccine's TCR-OV1 therapy targets ovarian cancer by focusing on unique antigens present in cancer cells via human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs). Demonstrating efficacy and safety in preclinical models, this therapy aims to undergo human trials, potentially offering a safe and transformative treatment for ovarian cancer, addressing current treatment limitations and improving outcomes for patients at advanced stages.

#7 Hybrid Lidar Systems AG (Germany) 

Transportation

Hybrid Lidar Systems AG Transportation - Germany Hybrid Lidar Systems introduces LiSSA 3D, a revolutionary LiDAR technology combining ToF + PV for precise distance measurement, offering double VGA resolution and sub-centimeter accuracy within a 200m range. This innovation enables better object classification crucial for autonomous driving, aiming to equip all vehicles and elevate road safety standards at a low cost.

This comprehensive approach aims to identify external threats and predict future impacts on the grid.

PATS offers an automated insect control solution that merges technology and biology, utilizing AI, bat-like hunt drones, and ultrasonic methods. Their aim is to revolutionize agriculture by reducing insecticide usage by up to 75% by 2030. By combining technology with biological control, they effectively target challenging pests without disrupting natural predator-prey balances, empowering farmers with precise data for sustainable practices.

N-Fix introduces N-Spire, an integrated project aiming to revolutionize agriculture. This initiative combines Hydrothermal Carbonization, Solid-State Fermentation, and formulation techniques to produce a bioactive fertilizer, enhancing soil health and promoting sustainability. N-Spire aims to reduce reliance on chemicals, improve soil quality, utilize agricultural residues, and enable carbon sequestration, offering a holistic solution for a more sustainable agricultural sector.

NanoTech's C-PREG 400 is an advanced high-temperature composite, featuring a patented inorganic resin formulation that renders it non-flammable and stable at extreme temperatures. Capable of withstanding oxidant environments at 400°C and short-term exposure to 500°C, it boasts superior fire resistance, outstanding mechanical properties, and high recyclability (up to 85%). This groundbreaking material, compatible with common processing methods, targets aerospace component manufacturers; it holds immense market potential in aerospace.

Orange Quantum Diagnostics Systems revolutionizes quantum chip diagnostics, eliminating the months-long process currently needed in cryogenic labs. Offering a rapid and comprehensive evaluation, it drastically reduces the time and specialized labor required, marking a significant leap forward in quantum computing diagnostics.

#14 Ocean Grazer B.V. (Netherlands)

Energy

The Ocean Battery solution tackles the challenge of balancing offshore e-Power supply and demand caused by intermittent wind power. This patented system substantially reduces CAPEX for offshore power grids, offering a high ROI. With weather dictating renewable energy production and a market exceeding €200 billion for energy storage, this project showcases the Ocean Battery in a lake, validating its operational viability. Once proven, it aims to scale offshore, providing GWh-scale eco-friendly energy storage to support the global energy transition.

#15 PLENESYS (France)

Environment


HyPlasma offers an integrated, cost-effective solution for clean hydrogen production through methane pyrolysis, avoiding CO2 emissions and generating valuable solid carbon as a by-product. With lower operating costs than electrolysis, it allows easy retrofitting of existing infrastructure and decentralized production for increased accessibility and environmental sustainability.

QC / Semiconductors


The Super-resolution Quantum Imager (SQI) addresses the limitations in semiconductor quality control. Leveraging diamond-based quantum sensing, SQI surpasses speed-resolution tradeoffs with sub-100 nm imaging and rapid measurements within minutes. This innovation, combining advanced optics, proprietary diamond production, and software, promises precise diagnostics for detecting chip defects.

Samplix is creating Xplore, an all-in-one single-cell analyzer and sorter designed for immune cell screening, selection, and expansion. This cost-effective solution offers higher throughput and sensitivity, aligning with cell and immune therapy (CIT) research workflows. By unlocking CIT's potential, Xplore accelerates the development of personalized therapies for critical diseases like cancer, autoimmune conditions, and viral infections.

#18 Spika Tech (Spain)

ICT

VR-CARDIO is an innovative medical tool designed for arrhythmia visualization and diagnosis. Unlike current Cardiac Navigation Systems (CNS) that rely on electrocardiograms captured by catheters, VR-CARDIO offers a revolutionary bioelectrical navigation of the cardiac system. This allows for precise and safe 360º visualization in augmented reality (AR) and/or virtual reality (VR), leading to faster cardiac ablation processes by providing constant monitoring of the electric impulse development throughout the heart.

#19 Swave BV (Belgium)

Engineering


Swave pioneers HXR, a groundbreaking spatial light modulator tailored for digital holography, set to disrupt visualization markets. HXR empowers display manufacturers to craft immersive holographic displays, poised to transform markets projected to exceed €100 billion by 2030.

C-LANT is a breakthrough medical device addressing the critical issue of thoracic trauma, a leading cause of accidental death. Seeking EIC support for clinical validation and scale-up, C-LANT has global impact potential in the Emergency Medical Devices and Surgical Drains markets, valued at over €40B by 2030.
